NOTA BENE

  1. The presence of a person applying for a residence permit in Greece is

required once in order to collect biometric data.

  1. The deadline for issuing a residence permit is within 1-3 months from

the date of submission of biometric data.

  1. Apostille must be placed on the original documents, and not on

notarized copies

  1. The exact place of birth (city, village, settlement) must be indicated in

the Birth Certificate.

  1. Validity of a residence permit for a property owner: 5 years from the

date of application. The residence permit of other family members expires

at the same time as the owner, regardless of the date of application. If

before the supposed expiration of the residence permit, the child of the

property owner turns 21 years old, his residence permit is valid until this

date. However, in this particular case, it is possible to extend the residence

permit for another 3 years.

  1. In the event that both parents are not present when submitting the

application of the minor, the consent of the absent parent to issue a

residence permit, drawn up by a notary and certified by the Apostille seal,

is required.

  1. When a minor child turns 6 and 12 years old, his residence permit will be

valid until he reaches this age, therefore it will be necessary to apply for a

RENEWAL residence permit. If by this time the residence permit is not yet

ready, then it will be necessary to re-submit fingerprints (upon reaching

this age).

  1. After submitting an application for a residence permit online, a

certificate will be sent to the e-mail specified when submitting, on the basis

of which you can stay in Greece without a limit of 90 days and without the

need for a visa to enter, but only to Greece. This does not apply to other

Schengen countries. Subsequently, an invitation to take fingerprints with a

specific date and time should be sent to the same e-mail.

  1. In the case of an investment in the above-mentioned 500,000 euros

investment areas, and the investment is allowed ONLY in a ONE property.
