In Northern Cyprus the title category — not the building — decides how secure your ownership is. We confirm the category for this project in writing before any money moves.
How the four categories differ →Malibu Zone 6 Tatlisu is a 24-apartment off-plan scheme in Tatlısu, on the north coast of Northern Cyprus, that the developer Carrington lists from GBP 169,950 with a completion year of 2028. This guide reads Malibu Zone 6 Tatlisu through what the developer’s page publishes as of 26 October 2026, tests its distance list against its own map pin, sets it beside the Malibu and Atlantis pages on the same stretch of coast, and lists the documents a buyer can ask for in writing before a first payment.

The developer’s project page describes Malibu Zone 6 as an off-plan residential development in Tatlısu, “approximately 250 meters” from the Mediterranean coastline, with 24 apartments in three low-rise blocks. The card shows “Starting Price £169950”, the location “Tatlısu, Famagusta” and four unit types, and the developer’s projects list files the project under “Off Plan”. The text gives completion in 2028 in four places and the meta description repeats the year, but the card carries no delivery date.
The page lists a communal outdoor swimming pool, poolside shower and WC facilities, on-site parking and a low-rise block design. Its payment plan has a 5,000 deposit in GBP, EUR, USD or cryptocurrency, 35 percent within four weeks and the other 65 percent over three years without interest. It prints no unit size, no count per unit type, no title-deed category, no building permit and no construction stage.
Unlike several Carrington pages, this one does not contradict itself on the unit count: 24 appears on the card, in the text, in the FAQ and on the Turkish and German cards. The page’s structured data shows publication on 12 April 2026 and a last change on 14 April 2026, and the server sends no last-modified header, so the date of the figures is the date of this check.
The text also contains sentences about rental performance and capital appreciation. They carry no figures, and this guide neither repeats nor assesses them. Rules, fees and periods are stated as of 26 October 2026. The Northern Cyprus country page indexes the other schemes in the portfolio, and the Tatlısu page groups the listings in the same town.

The page names four types: “Studio Garden Apartments”, “1 Bedroom Garden Apartments”, “1 Bedroom Duplex Apartments” and “2 Bedroom Duplex Apartments”, and the card prints them as studio, 1+1 garden, 1+1 duplex and 2+1 duplex. The same four-line list sits on the Malibu and Malibu Zone 5 cards, so it is template text. Unlike the Malibu card, however, it fits this project’s own plans, which is why it can be used here.
Three plan drawings are published, each captioned only “Model”: a ground floor, a first floor and a roof floor. They are drawn once, with Turkish room names and no areas. The ground floor shows four flats: two labelled Type 1 at the ends (living room with kitchen, “salon+mutfak”; bedroom, “yatak odası”; bathroom; side terrace) and two labelled Type 2 in the middle (“stüdyo”, with a bathroom and an enclosed terrace, “kapalı teras”).
The first floor shows two Type 3 flats (kitchen and living area, bedroom, bathroom, terrace) and two Type 4 flats (living room with kitchen, bathroom, enclosed terrace). The third drawing, “çatı katı”, is the roof floor above Types 3 and 4.
Types 3 and 4 are therefore the duplexes, first floor plus roof floor. The page does not say which duplex is the one-bedroom and which the two-bedroom: Type 3 shows a bedroom on the first floor, Type 4 shows none, and the roof floors carry no room labels.
| Malibu Zone 6 Tatlisu unit types: what is published | Plan label (reading) | What the drawing shows | Area | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|

Without areas, counts per type or per-type prices, price per square metre cannot be calculated, and none is offered. The table below uses only the published numbers (24 units, three blocks, the starting price and the payment percentages) and one reading of the plans. The 80 percent and one-half rows apply the foreign-sales limits in Decree-Law 89/2026 to a scheme of this size; whether they bind this project depends on its zoning, which the page does not state.
| Calculated from the developer’s figures | Arithmetic | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Units per block if the three blocks are equal | 24 ÷ 3 | 8 per block |
| Flats on the plan drawings | Ground floor 2 + 2; first floor 2 + 2 | 8 per block; 8 × 3 = 24, equal to the card if the blocks are identical |
| Units per plan type if the blocks are identical | 3 blocks × 2 of each type | 6 each of Types 1, 2, 3 and 4 |
| Share of duplex types (3 and 4) | 12 ÷ 24 | 50 percent |
| Ceiling for foreign buyers if the 80 percent rule applies to the whole scheme | 24 × 0.80 = 19.2 | At most 19 units |
| Half-of-units limit on one parcel for foreign buyers who are first-degree relatives or of one nationality (the page does not say whether the scheme is one parcel) | 24 ÷ 2 | 12 units |
| 35 percent down payment on the starting price | 169,950 × 0.35 | GBP 59,482.50 |
| Remaining 65 percent | 169,950 × 0.65 | GBP 110,467.50 |
| 65 percent in 36 equal monthly instalments (the page gives no frequency) | 110,467.50 ÷ 36 | GBP 3,068.54 a month |
These are the items a buyer can request in writing before reserving. Each is a document or number the developer must hold if the project is permitted and priced:
Tatlısu (Akanthou in Greek) lies on the north coast, but in official statistics it belongs neither to İskele district nor to Kyrenia district. The 2011 census tables place the municipality in Gazimağusa (Famagusta) district, Geçitkale sub-district, with three wards: Aktunç 671, Küçükerenköy 339 and Yalı 449 residents, 1,459 in total. The municipality puts the village 40 km east of Kyrenia and calls it the north-westernmost settlement of Gazimağusa district.
Other population figures are statements, not counts. The municipal fact sheet gives 2,700 residents including about 1,200 non-citizens and carries no date; Cittaslow International lists 2,000; a January 2026 statement by the mayor puts the summer population above 8,000. None of them gives a year-round figure.
The municipality describes its 22 km of coast as generally rocky, with small beaches and coves in places, and its economy as greenhouse farming, livestock, carob and olives, fishing, tourism and real estate.
“250 meters from the sea” therefore says nothing about a sandy beach, and the page does not say whether the shoreline at the plot is sand, rock, a cove or a public path. Of the eight gallery images, seven are renders and one is an aerial photograph of the surroundings, which shows houses and a construction site.
The page’s embedded map gives 35.36418 N, 33.67847 E. Calculated from the OpenStreetMap village-centre points (Tatlısu, Esentepe), that is 6.9 km in a straight line west of Tatlısu village (9.9 km by road) and 9.1 km east of Esentepe village (12.5 km by road). The scheme thus sits on the coast between the two villages, and the page names Tatlısu.
The developer’s other pages label this stretch inconsistently. Malibu, Malibu Zone 5 and Lagoon, whose pins lie 3.2 to 3.4 km south-west, read “Tatlısu, Famagusta”; the Poseidon card, 2.5 km away by pin, reads “Bahçeli, Kyrenia”; and the Sunset Valley page is Tatlısu in English and Bahçeli in Turkish, German and Russian. Bahçeli is one of four wards of Esentepe, which the census tables list in Girne (Kyrenia) district and which now forms part of Çatalköy-Esentepe municipality under Law 15/2022.
This guide follows the Zone 6 page, which says Tatlısu in every language version read, but the page does not state the parcel’s district. That matters twice. The Land Registry’s notice of 15 July 2025 ties transfers, mortgages and research documents to the district office where the property is registered, and Law 15/2022 gives the merged municipality the building permits for its attached settlements. The parcel number and the municipality should be requested in writing.
The Ministry of Health lists six state hospitals, none in İskele district. The two nearest in-patient hospitals by road are Akçiçek Hospital in Kyrenia and Gazimağusa State Hospital (table below). The Statistical Yearbook counts one state in-patient institution (72 beds) and five private ones (112 beds) in Girne district for 2024. BRT reported a new Girne hospital built on 28 January 2026, with about 148 beds planned and no opening date, and the Ministry’s list had not added it by 23 October 2026.
At Tatlısu itself a doctor started at the health centre on 21 January 2026, the first in twelve years, as Kıbrıs Postası reported: a general practitioner five days a week and three specialists one day each.
The table measures from the page’s own pin. By road, the pin reproduces the developer’s printed figures for Ercan (53 km), Kyrenia (35.5 km), the Esentepe beach (8 km), Korineum (17 km) and the marina (58 km) to within about two kilometres.
| Nearby places and distances from the Malibu Zone 6 pin | What it is | Straight-line (km) | By road (km, minutes) | Developer’s figure |

| Karpaz Gate Marina | Marina at Yenierenköy | 54.4 | 58.4, 55 | “Karpaz Gate Marina: 58 km” |
| Larnaca Airport | Airport in the Republic of Cyprus (road route crosses the Green Line) | 55.2 | 74.6, 76 | Not printed |
| Sea | Coastline | Not measured | Not applicable | “Sea and beach: 250 m” |

Straight-line figures are haversine distances between the pin and OpenStreetMap points; road figures are Ercan, Kyrenia, hospital, Esentepe beach, marina and Tatlısu estimates on the OpenStreetMap network, without traffic, border queues or formalities. Coordinates for Korineum, the Esentepe beach, the marina and Alagadi come from OpenStreetMap searches (Korineum, beach, marina and Alagadi). The developer’s 600 m to a market, and restaurants “within 1 km”, could not be tested because no business is named.
The same distance list is printed on the Malibu Zone 5 page. Measured the same way, the Zone 5 pin gives about 58 km to Ercan and 63 km to the marina, so the list is a shared template that happens to fit this pin. The Environment Protection Department’s 2024 turtle note sets May-to-October rules for nesting beaches, including shielded lights; it does not say which monitoring zone covers this coast, and its zone numbers have nothing to do with the Malibu zones.
Carrington’s website carries three pages with Malibu in the name: Malibu, Malibu Zone 5 and Malibu Zone 6. A related-posts block on each page lists the others, and that block is the only link between them. No page defines “zone”, shows a master plan, or says whether the zones share a plot, a pool, a beach, a management company or a service charge, and the text of the Malibu page does not mention zones at all. The table sets the three pages side by side as printed.
| As printed on the developer’s pages | Malibu | Malibu Zone 5 | Malibu Zone 6 |

| Unit areas printed | Some, on its plans | Yes: studio 42, 1+1 garden 52, 1+1 loft 87, 2+1 loft 106 m² total, each with its balcony or roof terrace | None |

| Site area printed | 13,776 m² | 2,112 m² | 2,112 m² (same figure as Zone 5) |
| Map pin | 35.3454 N, 33.6489 E | 35.3448 N, 33.6524 E | 35.36418 N, 33.67847 E |
| Pin distance from the Zone 6 pin (calculated) | 3.4 km | 3.2 km | Not applicable |
Reading across, the Zone 6 and Zone 5 pages share a four-line unit list, a facilities list, a payment plan and a site-area figure, yet print 24 and 48 units. Calculated, 2,112 ÷ 24 is 88 m² of site per unit on one page and 2,112 ÷ 48 is 44 m² on the other, against 183.7 m² per unit on the Malibu page (13,776 ÷ 75).
An identical area on two pages with different counts is the reason this guide does not rely on the figure. Zone 5’s printed unit areas belong to Zone 5’s own plans and should not be carried over to Zone 6, whose plans print none.
By pin, Zone 6 belongs with the Atlantis pages rather than with Malibu: it lies 0.26 km from the Atlantis Beach Apartments pin and 0.45 km from the Atlantis Pearl pin, against 3.2 to 3.4 km from the other two Malibu pins. The sea distances on the three nearby pages can also be tested against each other. If all three measure a straight line to the same shore, their figures cannot differ by more than the distance between their pins.
Atlantis Beach (100 m) and Zone 6 (250 m) differ by 150 m with pins 264 m apart; Zone 6 and Atlantis Pearl (450 m) differ by 200 m with pins 455 m apart; Atlantis Beach and Atlantis Pearl differ by 350 m with pins 417 m apart. All three pass, which shows the claims are compatible, not that any is correct.
The Malibu page’s private beach, bar and restaurant do not appear on the Zone 6 page, so none of them should be assumed for Zone 6. The Malibu page also states its interest-free plan “until September 2025”, a date already past, while the Zone 6 page prints no end date for its plan, which leaves open whether the offer is still current.
Delivery needs the same care. Zone 6 gives 2028 in the text and nothing on the card, whereas Zone 5 shows 2027 on its card and 2028 in its text, and the badges differ (“Under Construction” against “Off Plan”).
A year is not a handover date: counted from 26 October 2026, the year 2028 begins in about 14 months and ends in about 26, a window of twelve months. The page names no building permit, start date or stage of works, and the aerial photograph of a construction site in its gallery is not identified as this project.
The three-year plan runs past that year. Assume the 35 percent is paid in late November 2026 and the balance in 36 equal monthly instalments from December 2026 (the page states no frequency); the last instalment would then fall in November 2029.
At the end of 2027, 13 instalments would have been paid and 23 would remain; at the end of 2028, 25 would have been paid and 11 would remain (calculated). Whichever month of 2028 the handover falls in, between 11 and 23 instalments would still be due unless the plan ends at completion, which the page does not say.
Title follows payment. Under Decree-Law 89/2026 the one-year window for signing the transfer opens, in the absence of a mortgage registered for the seller, on the day the whole stated price is paid; the sources read here do not describe the variant that applies when such a mortgage exists. Read plainly, a buyer paying over three years would hold a registered contract, not a title deed, until the last instalment, unless the contract provides otherwise. Ordered by importance for a scheme at this stage, the written requests are:
Every deadline here is stated as of 26 October 2026. The limits rest on Decree-Law 89/2026 (Resmi Gazete 147, 7 August 2026), which is a Council of Ministers decree and not an act of Parliament; its 90-day validity runs out about 5 November 2026 unless Parliament enacts it.
The consolidated Law 52/2008 still prints the earlier, stricter wording, so both versions appear where they differ. Land Registry fees come from Resmi Gazete 197 (7 October 2026) and are valid to 5 January 2027 inclusive. A plan running to late 2029 outlasts both instruments, so the rules in force at the last instalment may not be today’s.
| Step | Who | Time limit as of 26 October 2026 | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Fix the parcel, the municipality and the district Land Registry office in writing | Buyer’s lawyer; developer | Before any payment | Land Registry notice of 15 July 2025 |
| 2. Confirm condominium easement or title, or the building-permit route the decree allows | Developer; Land Registry | Needed before a permit application; the decree allows a permit or planning approval instead for 2 years | Law 52/2008 art. 8(2); Decree-Law 89/2026 art. 9 |
| 3. Pay the deposit and the 35 percent | Buyer; developer | Deposit as agreed; 35 percent within 4 weeks (developer’s page) | Developer’s page |
| 4. Sign and stamp the sale agreement | Buyer, seller; Tax Department | 0.5 percent of the stated sum | Stamp Duty Law |
| 5. Register the agreement and lodge the purchase-permit application | Lawyer; district Land Registry; Interior Ministry | 1 month; otherwise the contract is void automatically | Decree-Law 89/2026 |
| 6. Pay the instalments | Buyer | Three years per the developer; not a statutory period | Developer’s page |
| 7. Council of Ministers permit; pay transfer fees | Interior Ministry; Land Registry | 75 working days from publication (60 in the older text); no time limit on the decision itself | Decree-Law 89/2026; Law 52/2008 |
| 8. Sign the transfer declaration | Buyer and seller before the Land Registry official | 1 year (6 months in the older text), counted from full payment where no mortgage favours the seller | Decree-Law 89/2026; Law 52/2008 |
| 9. Connect water and electricity | Municipality; electricity authority | Permanent connections only once taxes and fees are paid | Decree-Law 89/2026 |

The sequence differs from a completed purchase because the clocks start at signature while the money flows for three years. The one-month registration period runs from the agreement, not from the 35 percent payment, and a reservation receipt is a separate paper.
A foreign buyer needs the Council of Ministers’ purchase permit in both versions of the law, and the application takes the documents listed by the Interior Ministry’s Property Unit, including an original police record. The step-by-step guide describes the same sequence in more detail, and the off-plan guide covers payment schedules.
Illustrative costs on the starting price are calculated and are not a quotation. Stamp duty of 0.5 percent under the Stamp Duty Law is GBP 849.75, paid in lira at the official effective selling rate on the stamping date. The 4 percent Land Registry fee for a foreign buyer’s first property (Resmi Gazete 197) is GBP 6,798 if applied to the price, because the sources do not state the assessment base.
VAT at the 5 percent rate for housing up to 300 m² (7 October 2026 regulation) would be GBP 8,497.50 if added, and the page does not say whether the price includes it. The permit application fee is half the gross monthly minimum wage (from 1 July 2026), TL 35,446.50 at TL 70,893. The taxes and fees guide sets out the rates, and the sources contain no tariff for lawyers or utility connections.
The page allows the 5,000 deposit in cryptocurrency. The sources read for this guide state no TRNC rule on cryptocurrency payments for property; the Foreign Exchange Law makes foreign-currency contract amounts and bank remittances free, with sender and recipient recorded. How a cryptocurrency deposit would be valued, receipted and shown in the stamped agreement is a question for a lawyer and the paying bank.
The page says nothing about title. Ownership of many properties in the north is disputed, according to the UK Government guidance, which also notes that the European Court of Human Rights treats pre-1974 owners as continuing legal owners (Demopoulos, 2010). The Immovable Property Commission’s statistics page lists 8,820 applications, 3,787 of them concluded, as of 23 October 2026, but it publishes no data by village, so no statistic clears a particular parcel.
A Republic of Cyprus judgment on land in the north can be enforced elsewhere in the EU (Orams, 2009). Tatlısu’s history is told differently by the municipality and by Wikipedia, which records about 1,300 Greek Cypriots displaced in 1974; neither establishes who holds title to this parcel.
For an off-plan scheme the same guidance lists the usual problems: one lawyer acting for both vendor and builder, building without correct permits, payment plans left out of the contract, difficulty obtaining completion certificates and title deeds, and developer mortgages on the land. The developer’s About Us page lists legal and title-deed handling among its in-house services, which is a reason to appoint an independent lawyer. The title-deed guide covers the title-deed types, and the safety guide the wider safety questions.
Services are a practical risk across the north. The agriculture minister said that 44 million m³ of water was drawn from Türkiye in 2024 (Cyprus Mail), a grid blackout in August 2025 took the whole north offline for almost a day (Cyprus Mail), and the Çatalköy-Esentepe mayor said in July 2025 that homes and hotels in Çatalköy and Esentepe were not receiving enough water (Kıbrıs Postası).
None of these is a Tatlısu record, and none was found for Tatlısu. A communal pool adds load, so the water supply and storage arrangements are worth requesting.
No TRNC coastal setback or height rule could be found in the partial Central Legislation Office list of laws, so a distance claim such as 250 m is not a planning fact. The plan is priced in pounds while fees and stamp duty are computed in lira, and consumer prices rose 35.02 percent in the year to September 2026 (Statistical Institute). A contract that runs three years should also say what happens if the law changes during the plan.

Among the 14 pages that print a starting price, GBP 169,950 is the second-lowest, above only the GBP 144,950 of Atlantis Pearl, which has 176 units. The prices are printed for unstated unit types, so the ranking compares printed figures, not like-for-like homes.
Three pages print 24 units: Zone 6, Park Avenue (24 residential, with 36 commercial units separately) and The Residence. The two nearest pins are Atlantis Beach Apartments (0.26 km; completed in 2024 per its page; from GBP 199,950, which is GBP 30,000 above the Zone 6 figure) and Atlantis Pearl (0.45 km; 2028 in its text and 2030 on its card).
Malibu Zone 5, the other Malibu zone, prints GBP 189,950, which is GBP 20,000 or 11.8 percent above Zone 6 (calculated), 48 units including shops, and delivery 2027 on the card against 2028 in the text. Several Carrington pages carry conflicts of this kind between card and text, and the table shows them without choosing a value. For the area, the Esentepe page and the Caesar Bay Tatlisu listing by another developer give the wider context, and the town-by-town guide compares Tatlısu with the other coastal towns.
The About Us page describes a family-run group that has been developing, building and managing beachfront villas and apartments in North Cyprus “for over 35 years”. The Zone 6 page says “over 30 years”, so the two pages give different figures for the same history, and neither is documented. The About Us page also describes the company as an award winner but names no award, and this guide does not rely on that description.
Its stated expertise is coastal, low-density schemes with certified materials and a 5-year structural warranty. The warranty is repeated on the project pages, yet no document, issuer or scope is published, so what it covers and who stands behind it are questions for the contract.
The page groups further services “under one roof”: maintenance, rental and property management, airport transfers, car rental, after-sales support, and legal and title-deed process management. For Zone 6 that raises two points. The project page describes no management arrangement for the pool or common areas, and legal work supplied inside the seller’s group is not independent advice, a problem the UK guidance names when one lawyer acts for both sides.
Neither page names the legal entity that signs sale contracts, a registration number or directors; the footer reads “Carrington Group” with a 2026 copyright.
The page says “approximately 250 meters” and repeats it in its FAQ and feature list. No survey or shoreline coordinate is published, so the figure is a claim, not a measurement. The three nearest Carrington pins (Atlantis Beach Apartments at 100 m, Atlantis Pearl at 450 m, this page at 250 m) do not contradict one another once their separation is allowed for, but that confirms none of them. The municipality calls Tatlısu’s coast mostly rocky, so the type of shoreline needs a separate question.
The card, the text, the FAQ and the Turkish and German cards all give 24 apartments in three low-rise blocks. The page names four types: studio garden, one-bedroom garden, one-bedroom duplex and two-bedroom duplex, and prints no count per type. Read from the three plan drawings, and assuming the blocks are identical, each block holds eight flats, which gives six of each of the four plan types. That is a reading of the drawings, not a developer figure.
The text says completion in 2028 in four places and the meta description repeats the year; the card has no delivery date. A year is not a handover date: from 26 October 2026, 2028 begins in about 14 months and ends in about 26. The page does not say whether works have started, which permit applies or when any stage ends. Zone 5 shows 2027 on its card and 2028 in its text. The contract should carry a dated handover and a remedy for delay.
The page sets a 5,000 deposit (GBP, EUR, USD or cryptocurrency), 35 percent within four weeks and the remaining 65 percent over three years in interest-free instalments. On the starting price of GBP 169,950 that is GBP 59,482.50 and GBP 110,467.50, or GBP 3,068.54 a month over 36 equal instalments (calculated; the page gives no frequency). The page does not say whether the deposit counts towards the 35 percent, whether a cash price is lower than the plan price, or whether instalments stop at handover.
The 2011 census and the municipality’s own pages place Tatlısu in Gazimağusa (Famagusta) district, not in İskele and not in Kyrenia district. The developer’s card says “Tatlısu, Famagusta”, but its Poseidon card, 2.5 km away by pin, says “Bahçeli, Kyrenia”, and Bahçeli belongs to Esentepe, which is in Girne district. The district matters because the Land Registry’s 2025 notice ties transfers and searches to the district office where the property is registered, so the parcel number and municipality should be established in writing.
No. The page says nothing about the title-deed type, the history of the land before 1974 or the condominium title. The UK Government’s guidance calls ownership of many properties in the north disputed, and the Immovable Property Commission publishes no data by village, so no statistic can clear a particular parcel. A research document from the district Land Registry, a title-category check and an independent lawyer’s report are the routes the sources point to.
As of 26 October 2026, Decree-Law 89/2026 (Resmi Gazete 147, 7 August 2026) allows a foreign buyer up to three apartments, and its 90-day validity ends about 5 November 2026 unless Parliament enacts it. The consolidated Law 52/2008 still shows the stricter text of one apartment. A Council of Ministers purchase permit is needed in both versions. Separately, the decree limits sales of zoned housing projects to foreigners at 80 percent, which on 24 units would be 19 (calculated).
The page prints “Starting Price £169950” without naming the unit type, size or floor, and without saying whether VAT and fees are included. The Land Registry fee (4 percent on a foreign buyer’s first property), 0.5 percent stamp duty and VAT at 5 percent for housing up to 300 m² are separate items in the sources, and none is stated as included. A written price list per unit, showing the price under each payment option, is the document that answers the question.
The developer’s pages do not say. They list Malibu, Malibu Zone 5 and Malibu Zone 6 as three projects with related-posts links between them, but none defines “zone”, shows a shared plan or names a shared management arrangement. The pins place Zone 6 about 3.2 to 3.4 km from the other two and 0.26 km from Atlantis Beach Apartments. The Malibu page’s private beach, bar and restaurant do not appear on the Zone 6 page. Shared facilities should be confirmed in writing.
Not by itself. The Residence and Visa Regulation of 5 October 2026 offers a property-based short-term permit; for a purchase by contract, one-third of the price must be paid and the permit application lodged, which on GBP 169,950 is GBP 56,650 (calculated). Below GBP 300,000 the permit runs five years, and a contract-only buyer also shows regular income of one minimum wage. Citizenship needs five years’ residence or an exceptional Council of Ministers decision (Citizenship Law). The citizenship and residence page covers the wider position.
